5:1 Group Update for 7/5/2008 Run

Happy 4th of July

clip_image002It’s a holiday week-end and I’m sure we’ll have some missing members. But the remainder of us will be out at 5:50AM for a 6:00AM launch. Since Natalia is still enjoying her trip to Venezuela, I’ll be sure to swing around to the parking lot at 5:50AM to get us started. I’m doing 17 miles so I’ll have some in miles the bank before I arrive.

If anyone has a run longer than 10 miles please let me know – we can coordinate an earlier start for you.

On the occasion of July 4th, I hope we take a moment to remember our military men and women who aren’t home for the holiday, whether serving their country at one of our military bases or deployed in Iraq or Afghanistan. They are the backbone of our country – let’s take time to appreciate their sacrifices on our behalf.

Also, I wanted to remind you that this message, as well as the weekly email from all the other groups, is now being posted weekly to www.tampa262.com. If you are not near your email, you can still jump on the Internet and get our updates.

See you Saturday!

Happy Independence Day!
