3:1 Group Leader Update for 8/23/2008

Hi ALL,

Can you believe that it is almost the end of August!!!!   I can’t.   This week we are back at the Library parking lot. We will meet at the Library and then walk over to meet Maria and Roxanne at the 10 mile mark. So meet at 5:50am so we can get to that 10 mile mark by 6am. Maria and Roxanne will be running 8-9 miles. We will then run 9-10 depending on how many they ran earlier. We have to get Maria to that magical 18 mile mark this week. We can do it!!!!

Let me know if you will be out in TT so I can wait for you! Right now, I only know for SURE of me, myself and I!!!! Beth said maybe and I haven’t heard from Elisabeth.

If you do show up, make sure to have at least 1 good story to tell!!!! We have to make these miles fun and without stories it gets to be drudgery.

School got off to a rocky start this week. Our bus stop is a ½ mile away from our home so that is a mess, then tropical storm Fay closed schools on Tuesday (and we may have gotten a ¼  inch of rain - - maybe!!!), the kids were not happy to get up this morning. Slow starts for Josh. He was used to getting up at 7:30 am for middle school and this 5:30 am stuff is killing him. He also has football practice after school and that has him home by 7pm, shower, eat, homework, bed. The kid is wiped out.

Talk to you all on Sat,

Janet
