3:1 Group Leader Update for 8/9/2008

This week is low mileage so anyone working on a marathon should keep a base of 8-10 (10 being better).   I will not be in TT because we are going to the lake.   We are taking several other children also, so we will have a crowded house.

Make sure that you drink plenty of fluids today and tomorrow, because it is hotter than heck out there.   I ran this morning and I was soaking wet.

I have also been taking up swimming (nothing is better than jumping in the pool after a workout).   But I am utterly amazed at the time it takes to swim.  I swam ½ mile….yes that is half a mile…..and it took me 25 min.    Swimming is definitely harder than running.  When I think it takes me about 6 min to run a ½ mile and took 25 min to do the swimming!!!!

Talk and see you all next week (luckily another short week!!!)

Janet
