5:1 Group Leader Update for 8/9/2008

How's it going?

8-8-8 what an amazing number!!!

The Summer Olympics are starting that day... and yes, I'm a big fan, the best of the world will be united to compete all with one goal in mind, to win and to make their countries proud.

Which sport is your favorite? Gymnastics, Track and Field, Swimming, Volleyball? so many sports to pick from I'm sure  there will be plenty to entertain us all.

So... are you feeling a little athletic? how about in honor of all those great athletes representing the good USA, we get out for a good run?

TT is the place and Saturday 8/9 is the day. We have some early birds this week who will be logging some miles:

  • Jeff who's training for St. George will be starting at 5:15 AM, tagging along with him will be Lynn and Leo (maybe).
  • According to the Chicago Marathon schedule, Brunnie and Jill have 17-20 miles, I'm sure they'll be starting at 4:00 AM.
  • Roxanne who's training for San Antonio will be logging 15 miles, she'll be starting 4:50 AM and I'll be keeping her some company.

clip_image001If you would like to join any of us, please let us know, otherwise, come by the 10 mile marker at 6:00 AM (give or take a few minutes) so we can continue our run with you.

By the way, 8-8-8 also happens to be Leo's Birthday!!!!!!

See you.

Saludos!
Naty
