5:1 Group Leader Update for 11/15/2008

Hello Everyone –

A couple general announcements in an otherwise uneventful Saturday run this week.

First: GO ROXANNE at the inaugural San Antonio Rock ‘n Roll Marathon! It is a great city to hang out in and the race is sold out! I know Roxanne is going to have a great run. We’ll look forward to hearing about it next week.

Second: Lynne C. is would like to come out early to get a few extra miles in. Normally I’d step up, but I am sidelined indefinitely with calf strains on each side. If you would like to come out early, email Lynne and let her know.

Finally: Everyone else – it is the normal 5:50AM meeting time with a 6:00AM start. Keep an eye on the email – if Lynne comes out early there may be a meet up at the 10 mile mark.

I’m sorry I’ll miss everyone Saturday but I really have to rest these calves. Somehow I managed to injure myself while doing the lowest mileage I’ve done all year. I hope it’s not more that a 2-3 week setback. Have a GREAT RUN!
