5:1 Group Leader Update for 11/8/2008

Hello, Hope everyone is having a wonderful week.
We've had great running weather these days, I hope you are taking advantage
of this a hitting the road for some miles, if you have not run in a while,
why not come on down and join us this Saturday? we promise it will be lots
of fun.

As far as the schedule for this week, this is what we have:

  • Lynn will be making up the 17 miles she missed last week from the Miami
schedule and she plans to start at 5:00 AM, if you wish to join her, please
    let us know.
  • If you are running Disney you are scheduled for 17-20 Miles. From our
group, as far as I know only Brunie has mentioned she will do this race and
she's been taking some time off after running the Chicago marathon, I don't
know of anyone else who plans on running this race.
  • Jacksonville 13-15. I have not heard of anyone from our group that will
run this one, Dean mentioned some time ago he wanted to run it, but I'm not
    sure if he's still interested.
  • Gasparilla 11-13 miles. Some of us that will be running Miami (Linda and
me) are considering running this race too, but since we are on the Miami
schedule we're not following this one at this time, I don't know of anyone
    else interested.

Everyone else, lets meet at the parking lot and head down to meet with Lynn
at the 10 mile marker at 6:00 AM.

On another note:

CONGRATULATIONS to Lynne who completed the Marshall University Marathon in
Huntington, WV this past Sunday Nov, 2nd, ...Go! Lynne, Go!

Here is a thought, with the most popular races behind us, perhaps it will be
a good idea if you could let us know if have plans on joining any of these
races mentioned above or any other one coming up, we want to make sure you
get your training schedule and that you are not out there alone on the long
runs, so go ahead and tell us about your plans.

Take care

Saludos!
Naty
