5:1 Group Update for 11/29/2008

A quick message this week to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

clip_image002 If anyone is running the Turkey Trot in Clearwater – I’ll be running an easy 10K so let me know where we might meet up. This race is celebrating its 30th year.

This week-end we a lot of the group is traveling but we should have a core at 6:00AM. I’m unaware of anyone running early – please respond and let me know differently. Otherwise, lets meet up in the parking around 5:50AM and work off some of that turkey.

As the holiday Thanksgiving approaches, I’d like to thank everyone for all the support throughout the year – the training runs, the encouragement and sharing the ups and downs. I’m counting our Saturday mornings among the blessings I’m remembering this holiday.

Travelers – please be safe and we’ll look forward to many more runs to come.
