We can talk about running, which we will do at 6:00AM on Saturday, but we really need to talk about breakfast. Be ready to meet at Einstein’s at 8:00AM to celebrate all the great halves/marathons/goofiness this month and to catch up with our nearly-parental friend Amanda. It was a little light last week with all the post marathon recovery, combat training week-ends and other stuff going on. I hope we can all get out there.
That said – I decided to jump in to the Clearwater half marathon on Sunday. It will be a good long run preparation for the RnR marathon. So I believe I will join you at 6:00AM with Kuma in tow for a run to the college, take her home and return for breakfast.
A reminder that the NY Marathon Lottery is open for next year if you want to try your luck (it will cost you $11).
Chicago Marathon registration opens on February 1st and Marine Corps on March 7th. With the popularity of marathons these days, if you are considering any of those you should be prepared to register the day they open.
Now for a little inspiration – I had the pleasure of seeing “Murderball” last week- a.k.a. Wheelchair rugby. A lot of you wanted to know what it looked like. Here you go:
